Hacienda Poas is conceptualized as a vacation and weekend retreat.
It is inspired by the architecture of early 20th-century coffee plantation houses, known for their simplicity and functionality.
The design features large eaves, simple roofs, wood, stone, and exposed concrete, emphasizing a straightforward architectural style.
