We are a Costa Rican company that was established 17 years ago as an architectural and construction solution. We are a group of collaborators passionate about what we do, led by our managing partners, focused on carrying out the design, plans, budget and construction process of fully customized residential projects, considering our values as a key point in the entire process.
Company History
1942 – The beginning
Since 1942, Mr. Amado Salazar began working as an architect and builder, developing a wide variety of projects throughout the country. In the later years of his career, he worked alongside his grandson Alejandro Salazar Álvarez, who inherited his grandfather's skills and passions.
1997 – The Legacy Continues
Mr. Alejandro Salazar works in the area of Architecture and formally began his passion for design and construction in 1997. Like his grandfather, he has developed several projects across the country and has established several companies that offer products and services such as prefabricated systems, finishes for housing, drawing and plotting of plans and most importantly, design and construction.
2005 – The team grows
Mr. Sebastián Ugalde obtained his degree in Civil Engineering in 2005 and began working with Mr. Alejandro Salazar in the Guanacaste area, taking advantage of the historic construction boom in the area and obtaining experience in the design, development and construction of all types of projects, including: houses, condominium buildings, bridges, roads, residential and more.
2008 –Constructora MAS is established
It was not until 2008 that Constructora MAS was formally created, with the purpose of offering a quality professional option for the development of projects anywhere in the country.
As part of our vision of improvement and professional growth, our company is a member of the Chamber of Consultants in Architecture and Engineering (CCAI), which brings together a large part of the best architectural and engineering developers in the country. Similarly, it is also
affiliated with the Federated College of Engineers and Architects (CFIA), the Costa Rican Association of Water Resources (ACREH), AL-INVEST CADEXCO, ICCYC, CIC, among others.
